Introduction: The complexity of contemporary health challenges requires an innovative and comprehensive approach to nurse training. The ‘Nurses4ONEHealth’ project seeks to go beyond the traditional curricular approach, exploring new perspectives and strategies to develop competences focused on Global Health. Objectives: To develop a scale on health sustainability for nursing students; to assess nursing students' attitudes towards health sustainability; to create a podcast and a community intervention programme on health sustainability. Material and Method: The project has three axes. Axis 1 - Research: I methodological study to build a scale on the Attitude of Nursing Students towards Sustainability Practices in Health; II cross-sectional, descriptive-correlational study with a sample of 300 students; Axis 2 - Exploration: creation of PodCasts on sustainability in health; Axis 3 - Intervention: creation of a community intervention programme promoting the development of sustainability practices based on peer learning. Results: Axis 1 - A scale was constructed based on a literature review and validated through a focus group of 10 experts. A sample of 300 Portuguese nursing students will be used for the psychometric study, and data will be collected via an online questionnaire in 2024/25. Axis 2 and 3 - 10 PodCasts and a 12-session intervention programme on health sustainability for young people will be developed. Conclusions: The project will foster a generation of nurses committed to promoting Global Health and adopting sustainable, positive and long-lasting practices.
