Introduction: Excellence in team performance is a priority in healthcare, with high-performing teams being essential for organizations. In this context, tools for assessing high-performing teams are relevant and may serve as important resources for leaders to evaluate their teams' performance. Aim: To map the evidence on tools for assessing high-performing teams in the healthcare sector. Material and Methods: The review will follow the Joanna Briggs Institute methodology for scoping reviews and the guidelines of the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses Protocols. Using the PCC strategy, searches will include studies involving healthcare teams (Population), tools for performance evaluation (Concept), in all professional contexts (Context). There will be no restrictions on time or language. Results: The results will be presented through a PRISMA flowchart, documenting the findings and reasons for the exclusion of studies. Following data extraction, a thematic analysis of the findings will be conducted, along with a narrative description of the results. Conclusions: This study aims to identify and systematize tools for assessing high-performing teams in the healthcare sector, which may contribute to the development of more effective team management strategies.
