Clinical supervision in nursing training is essential for the student's professional development. The complexity of supervision brings a breadth of knowledge, concepts and practices that characterize the relationship between student and supervisor as complex. Objective: Thus, the study aims to map the existing scientific evidence on the contribution of simulated practice to the development of skills of undergraduate nursing students. Methods: The planned research will be a Scoping review according to the guidelines of the Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) ® and its protocol will be registered in the Open Science Framework database. To comply with the methodology for this study, we sought to answer the research question: What are the benefits of simulated practice in developing the skills of undergraduate nursing students? The search will be carried out in the following electronic databases: MEDLINE®, CINAHL, Scopus, Web of Science; Cochrane library; JBI Evidence Synthesis. Results and discussion: A PRISMA-ScR (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-analyses Extension for Scoping Reviews) flow diagram will be created to represent the research steps. Conclusion: We hope to be able to map the evidence on the clinical skills that can be developed using simulated practice in teaching nursing degree students.
